Docs Integration
A review-ready design for scoped Notion writes, clearly separated from current production availability.
Availability boundary: Notion is not in the production OpenFactory connection catalog as of August 12, 2026. The content below is a design and validation checklist, not an available connector claim.
Consider a future research workflow. It finishes a piece of work and, dumping a wall of text into chat, it creates a tidy page in your “Research” database: a clear title, a summary, the key findings, and links to sources. It tags the entry by topic, sets the status to “Ready for review,” and adds a line to your weekly digest page. Your workspace stays organized without anyone copy-pasting.
Use this as a planning artifact only after Notion appears in the live console catalog. Replace database names with immutable ids, define allowed properties, and keep publication or destructive edits behind review.
You are my research agent with access to Notion.
After each piece of research you finish:
- Create a page in the "Research" database with a clear title and date.
- Write a short summary, the key findings, and links to sources.
- Tag it by topic and set the status to "Ready for review".
- Add a bullet to the "Weekly digest" page linking the new entry.
Keep the database tidy - reuse existing topic tags instead of inventing near-duplicates.Notion pairs well with the rest of your stack - see all integrations for email, chat, dev, and tracking apps your agents can act in.
This page describes an intended pattern for creating and updating pages and database entries. Notion is not configured in the production OpenFactory connection catalog as of August 12, 2026, so the examples are not a claim of current product availability.
A future connector should be limited through Notion's own integration sharing and scopes, then bound to an exact OpenFactory role. The workflow must validate database ids, property schemas, duplicate handling, and denied pages before writes are enabled.
The intended connector would act through the authorized Notion integration and its shared pages. Attribution and access must be confirmed in Notion's own audit and sharing surfaces; they should not be inferred from an agent label.
The current managed-integration architecture uses Composio Cloud for OAuth and token storage. Self-hosting the OpenFactory control plane does not make that credential or content-processing path local. Review the processor and model data path before activation.
